Please note:A feeder suspension in China is coming up during CNY2022

It is reported that Hapag-Lloyd HPL, which belongs to THE Alliance, recently announced that it will suspend the acceptance of cargoes whose final destinations are the Pearl River Delta and Fuzhou's southern China region from the end of December 2021 until further notice. The main reason is that after the end of the Chinese New Year holiday in 2022, crew members travelling between South China and Hong Kong need to comply with the quarantine policy for the new crown pneumonia. The feeder operators in South China have announced the suspension of services from late December 2021 to mid-February 2022. However, HPL will continue to undertake trunk line services to major ports such as Hong Kong, Yantian or Shekou.

Feeder suspension period Based on ETA at main ports: Hong Kong, Yantian, Shekou - This applies to all container sizes and types including special cargo (DG/RF/OOG)

HPL reminds shippers to note that during the suspension of feeder operators, any additional costs and responsibilities related to detention fees, terminal storage fees or terminal fees incurred at transshipment ports such as Hong Kong, Shekou or Yantian after containers are unloaded will be borne by the shippers.

To mitigate the impacts of these restrictions, we recommend that you place the order as soon as possible. We will arrange production in advance to ensure that your order could be delivered on time.
